  • Highest yield

Effective and accurate heating is key to high-yield highperformance glass production.

Chinook is the market’s most efficient heating system, based on the highest number of measurements, combined with automatic process adjustment. In practice, this minimizes operator input, while maintaining constant high capacity.

The Chinook convection system combines accurate temperature profiling with uniform heat transfer to increase production while reducing energy consumption with circulated air top convection.

  • Lowest energy consumption

Building on our circulated air top convection technology, Chinook Pro features both top and bottom circulated air convection.

The efficient Chinook Pro, with all the built-in capacity and economy of Chinook, includes a special convection system that circulates air over both the top and bottom of the glass. This minimizes your overall energy consumption and saves significantly on production costs.

  • Highest flexibility

You can process all thicknesses and sizes in one load with the highest quality.

Vortex Pro enables you to produce the very highest quality glass. Unlike any other available design, it allows heat to be added to or removed from any specific location on the glass sheet. Productivity improves since heat is directed only to where it is needed.

Each special convection nozzle is controlled independently, enabling thermal profiles to be adjusted as desired and run in an automated sequence.

  • No roller heat disturbances

Stable roller temperature is required for continuous highquality production.

Roller heat control (RHC) stabilizes the roller temperatures, even with the most demanding production requirements. The system transmits roller heat information to the furnace control system, which automatically adjusts the bottom heat level to balance roller temperatures.

RHC eliminates roller heat disturbances and improves production quality.

  • Smarter processing

Since low-emissivity glass surfaces reflect light, a traditional thermal scanner does not perform as well in Low-E glass production.

The bottom scanner is an excellent tool for operators to verify that the glass is heating uniformly.

  • Active edge control technology

The optimal flatness of tempered glass is very important, especially when processing laminated as well as insulated glass units.

A new active edge control technology, enabled by intelligent cooling profiling that automatically adapts to  your glass size, makes sure there are no issues with edge lift.
